If you stop trying to fix yourself, you can start to accept yourself -- flaws and all -- and start living your life with more ease, joy, and strength.

I'm Maureen Clancy. Since 2002 as a psychotherapist, I've worked with more than 200 women who've struggled in the same ways that you do. Each was diligently trying to make herself a better person, but didn't really feel better. That's because she didn't focus on the one thing that works -- changing the relationship with herself. Drawing on the most effective psychotherapies, I created strategies to help my clients do just that -- beginning with creating and leading their Inner Councils.

This isn't another self-help book or meditation that you try to figure out on your own. I've designed From Inner Critic to Warrior Queen to be an intimate, hands-on experience that will help you handle whatever life brings.

We begin on Sunday, September 4th and there's a place for you. 

You get: 

  • 12 Guided imagery audios and delivered to your inbox once per week. In each audio, you'll actively begin relating to yourself in a new way. You'll meet some of the parts inside of you, which I call the members of your Inner Council. You'll learn and begin to master leading from within, rather than fighting yourself. 
  • 12 sets of journaling prompts each week to process and reflect on the changes you notice.
  • 5 community calls to integrate learning, connect with each other, share your experiences and celebrate successes.

Here's how the 12 weeks unfold:

Week 1 -- Creating the Container & How we Roll

In the first week, you dive right in to create the container for doing this work in a community of safety and non-judgement. Then you'll set your intentions for the time we have together. You'll get your first guided imagery audio and journal prompts to start shifting your relationship with yourself. You'll also meet your fellow travelers on this journey in the first of five community calls.

WEEKS 2-8 -- Meet the Members of Your Inner Council

In weeks 2 through 8, you will meet with each member of your Inner Council. As you meet each one through guided meditations, reflective journaling. and art-making, you'll get to know each one in a way you never have before. You'll connect with each other on 2nd and 3rd community calls. You'll also learn and start using the powerful tool of EFT/Tapping.

WEEK 9 -- Inner Council Meeting

Using the meeting strategy you've already begun to master in weeks 2 though 8, you'll call your first all-members meeting of your Inner Council and start to work as a team toward inner harmony. 

Week 10 -- Problem solving with your Inner Council

Building on your first meeting with your Inner Council, you’ll meet again to problem-solve a current challenge you face.  You’ll lead and create solutions that make you feel better immediately. You'll connect on your 4th community call.

WEEK 11 -- WHAT to do when

This week delves deeper into leading your Inner Council with specific ways to work with issues that arise with members.

Week 12 -- The After Party & Moving Forward

I love a good party! We'll come together on our last community call to celebrate the shifts that have begun and map out how to continue with your Inner Council. 

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m interested, but I’m super-busy. How much time will this take each week?

You can take as little or as much time as you want. Overwhelm isn’t something that this course will create. There are 2 minimum things to do: listen to the 6-minute guided imagery audio and participate in the community room. If you have time and it feels right, you go on to journaling about what came up during the guided imagery and do the art-making activity. 

I want to get rid of my Inner Critic. Will you help me do that?

In my experience, this isn’t possible. When you try to get rid of it, your Inner Critic gets bigger and louder. From Inner Critic to Warrior Queen teaches a different way of relating to this part of you that’s grounded in curiosity and compassion. When you do this, your Inner Critic and all the parts you don’t like, get quieter and no longer prevent you from having the life you want.

Is this psychotherapy?

No. Although it's based on the work I do as a psychotherapist, it isn’t therapy or meant to be used in place of psychotherapy.

I’m an introvert, and I’m shy about participating in the community. How can this work for me?

I’m an introvert, too. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I’ll always encourage you to honor what feels right for you.

I'm not on Facebook and I'm concerned about privacy on the internet. How are you handling this part?

Our privacy is important to me. We'll meet on MeWe -- a platform that guards and protects individual and group privacy. It's not connected to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. It's easy to learn and use. Check it out here.

I’m afraid that some heavy stuff will come up and I'll have trouble dealing with it. What if that happens?

You aren't alone. In addition to the the community of women taking the course with you, I’m here by your side. If something heavy comes up, I’ll help you face it, heal it and clear it out during your individual support session with me. One session is included, and you can add more support sessions for an additional fee.
